Dalmatian Discovery Cruise - Dubrovnik to Split Lower Deck MS My Way

You will be transferred from Dubrovnik airport to the port, where embarkation begins at 14:00h. Get settled in your cabin before attending a Welcome reception followed by dinner, (WR, D).

Early in the morning enjoy the magic scenery as the ship cruises around Dubrovnik city walls to continue to one of the Elaphiti Islands for a swim stop. Afternoon arrival in Slano, a peaceful fishermen’s village and our starting point to Ston, situated on Peljesac peninsula and once fortified small village famous for its oysters, which we will taste in a a nearby village. The Peljesac peninsula is known as one of the best wine producing regions in Croatia. Overnight and Captain’s dinner on board in Slano. (B, L, T, CD)

In the morning we head north to the Island of Mljet. Join the Cruise Manager for a stroll to the famous salt lakes in the Mljet National Park. Continue our cruise towards the Korcula island, best known as the birthplace of Marco Polo. Afternoon arrival in Korcula followed by a guided walking tour of this enchanting town surrounded by walls, which is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean. Overnight in Korcula where you can enjoy a gourmet experience at the multiple restaurants and bars, (B, L).

Morning sail towards the island of Hvar. Along the way a short swim stop, cooling off and relaxing. Lunch on board and set sail for Hvar on the island of Hvar, a charming seaside town with 8 centuries of architecture, and a favorite holiday destination for international celebrities. During a walking tour, visit many historical sites, such as St Stephen’s Square and Cathedral, the Arsenal with the theatre built on its first floor, the first municipal theatre in Europe. Above the town is the impressive Fortress, Fortica, offering magnificent views over the bay and Pakleni Islands. Evening is free to explore or dine on your own in one of the many restaurants. (B, L)

Note: Due to the limited capacity of the Hvar harbor (during peak season) port of all can be substituted for Stari Grad. In that case transfer by bus will be organized to and from Hvar.

Today sail to the small island Biševo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. The possibility of our visit will depend on weather conditions. Afterwards continue to Vis, once a strategic naval Yugoslav base and restricted to the public. Due to this isolation, Vis has a special charm – “the Mediterranean as it once was”. Some of Europe’s largest and greatest naval battles happened in the waters of Vis. Vis Island holds many historic secrets and we will explore Vis history by military Land Rover Defenders. Early morning head towards Milna on the Island of Brač with a swim stop in one of bays, relax and lunch on board. After lunch arrive in Milna still known as the most beautiful and most protected port on Brač. Explore this Dalmatian town dominated by a Baroque church with a typical bell tower. The interior of the church is rich in valuable paintings. Overnight in one of the harbors on the island of Brač. (B, L, T)

Today head towards Trogir with a stop along the way to swim and relax with lunch on board. After docking, join a short orientation walk through this medieval city. Trogir is sometimes referred to as “miniature Venice” because of its ancient walls, or a “floating museum town” - as it has a masterful architecture including some stunning Venetian palaces. In the late afternoon will take a ride to Split where you will join a guided tour of Split with and visit the seafront promenade and Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace. The historical center of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. Enjoy free time in Split and explore the city on your own. After an exciting evening, we transfer you to the ship. Overnight in Trogir. (B, L)

Note: Due to the limited capacity of the Split harbour (reconstructions related) we may sail directly to the port of Trogir. In that case transfer by bus will be organized to and from Split town for the sightseeing tour

After breakfast it’s time to disembark no later than 9:00h. Transfer to Split airport. (B)
