Natural Beauties of Croatia & Slovenia Zagreb to Trogir

On arrival at the airport, transfer to your hotel. The rest of your day is free to explore. In the evening meet your tour group with a welcome reception with a welcome drink, staying at the Hotel Westin / Sheraton or similar. (WR)

Morning sightseeing tour through the historic Upper Town. See St. Mark’s Church, St. Catherine’s Church, the Cathedral, the Parliament, and the Government Palace. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore. Overnight in Zagreb at the Hotel Westin / Sheraton or similar. (B)

After breakfast, travel to Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. Enjoy an orientation tour of the old city center, highlighting the picturesque open air Central Market, the Three Bridges, the Baroque Town Hall, and Robba’s Fountain. Continue onward to Bled, staying at Kompas / Bled Rose / Ribno or similar. (B, D)

Nestled beside an Alpine lake and surrounded by high peaks, Bled was "discovered" by travellers in the mid 19th century. Today, it is a vibrant, year round resort. A sightseeing tour includes the charming town, lake shore, and panoramic views of Bled Castle, perched on a cliff above the lake. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Staying at Kompas / Bled Rose / Ribno or similar. (B)

The journey continues to Postojna, home to one of Europe’s largest cave systems. Explore this fascinating underground world aboard a miniature electric train. Then, travel to the elegant seaside town of Opatija and enjoy an orientation tour of this once fashionable 19th century resort, known for its Habsburg era villas. After some free time, continue to Plitvice Lakes. Overnight at Hotel Jezero or similar. (B, D)

After breakfast, enjoy a walking tour of the lower lakes in Plitvice Lakes National Park, a stunning natural wonder with sixteen terraced lakes connected by cascading waterfalls and surrounded by lush forest. After the tour, travel to Split for an overnight stay at Hotel Corner / Art or similar. (B, D)

Enjoy a guided tour of Split’s historic inner city, centred around the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore remnants of Roman architecture, as well as Renaissance and Gothic structures, including Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. The afternoon is free to stroll through the charming streets or relax at the beach. Overnight at Hotel Corner / Art or similar. (B)

After breakfast travel to Dubrovnik. Transfer to Dubrovnik port where embarkation begins at 14:00h. Get settled in your cabin before going on a walking tour of Dubrovnik around 17:00h, the “Pearl of Adriatic”. Walk through Stradun both a street and a square, the most famous place inside the town walls, enlisted as UNESCO’s World Heritage site, where your guide will show you the most interesting sights of Dubrovnik. After returning to ship enjoy a Welcome reception followed by dinner this evening. (B, WR, D)

Enjoy the magic scenery as the ship cruises around Dubrovnik city walls to continue to one of the Elaphiti Islands for a swim stop. Afternoon arrival in Slano, a peaceful fishermen’s village and our starting point to Ston, situated on the Peljesac peninsula a fortified small village famous for its oysters, which you can taste in a nearby village. The Peljesac peninsula is also known as one of the best wine producing regions in Croatia. Tonight, enjoy Captain’s dinner and overnight in Slano. (B, L, T, CD)

Head north to the Island of Mljet. Join the Cruise Manager for a stroll to the famous salt lakes in the Mljet National Park. Continue our cruise towards the Korcula island, best known as a birthplace of Marco Polo. Afternoon arrival in Korcula followed by a guided walking tour of this enchanting town surrounded by walls, which is one of the best preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean. Overnight in Korcula where you can enjoy a gourmet experience at the multiple restaurants and bars. (B, L)

Sail towards the island of Hvar. Short break swimming, cooling off and relaxing, if the weather permits. Lunch on board. Arrival to Hvar, a charming seaside town. During a walking tour, visit many historical sites, such as St Stephen’s Square and Cathedral, the Arsenal with the theatre built on its first floor, the first municipal theatre in Europe. Above the town is the impressive Fortress, Fortica, offering magnificent views over the bay and Pakleni Islands. Evening is free to explore and dine on your own in one of the many restaurants. Overnight in one of the harbors on Hvar Island. (B, L)

Sail to the small island Bisevo to visit the Blue Cave, a magnificent natural phenomenon. The possibility visit depends on weather conditions; however, you will be notified of this before. Afterwards continue to Vis, once a strategic naval Yugoslav base and restricted to the public. Due to this isolation, Vis has a special charm – “the Mediterranean as it once was” making it interesting to visit. Since the independence of Croatia, the island began opening slowly to the outside world. Some of Europe's largest and greatest naval battles happened in the waters of Vis. Vis Island holds many historic secrets and we will explore Vis history by military Land Rover Defenders. Overnight in one of the harbors on Vis Island. (B, L)

Head towards Milna on the Island of Brac with a swim stop, weather permitting, in one of pristine bays, time to relax and lunch on board. After lunch we arrive in Milna still known as the most beautiful and most protected port on Brac. Explore this Dalmatian town dominated by a Baroque church with a typical Dalmatian bell tower. The interior of the church is rich in valuable paintings by Venetian painters. Overnight in one of the harbours on Brac Island. (B, L)

Head towards Trogir with a stop along the way to swim, if weather permits, with lunch on board. After docking, join a short orientation in Trogir, sometimes referred to as “miniature Venice” or a “mini Dubrovnik” because of its ancient walls. In the late afternoon take a ride to Split and join a guided tour of historic old town that takes us to the Palace of the Roman Emperor Diocletian, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage. Free time to explore Split. After an exciting evening, we transfer you to the ship. Overnight in Trogir. Note: Due to the limited capacity of the Split harbour we may sail directly to the port of Trogir. In that case transfer by bus will be organized to and from Split town for the sightseeing tour.
