You’ll cross Scandinavia by road and water, following routes once travelled by Viking ships and merchant vessels. In Norway, cool fjord air drifts across deep blue water and steep mountain walls as you journey between the ‘King’ and ‘Queen’ of the fjords. Denmark and Sweden add royal capitals, old trading ports and waterfronts where centuries of Nordic life remain visible in stone, timber and copper. You might hear gulls above the harbour as reflections tremble across the water and painted façades glow beside weathered copper rooftops.
