Tambo International Airport (JNB), you will be met in the arrivals hall by a local representative who will escort you to your shuttle transfer to your hotel. The remainder of your day is at leisure. We make a stop just outside the capital city of Mthatha, immersing ourselves in the local surroundings. Continuing our travels, we pass by Nelson Mandela's birthplace and childhood home before finally reaching our accommodation in Chinsta East, nestled along the pristine and untainted coastline of the Eastern Cape. This morning we awoke to the sounds of the crashing waves. The beach stretches on uninterrupted for many kilometres, and the thick indigenous beach forest is a haven for an amazing variety of birdlife. Following breakfast, we embark on an inland journey, traversing the stunning Outeniqua Pass towards Oudtshoorn.
