After making your way to your hotel, the evening is at your leisure to begin exploring the scenic Inner Harbor or perhaps enjoy a walk along the waterfront.

Hotel check-in time is at 3pm. If arriving prior to this, you will be able to leave your luggage with hotel reception and explore your surroundings until check-in becomes available. The hotel may grant early check-in, however this is strictly subject to availability and at the hotel's discretion.
Day 2 - Unforgettable Canada - Victoria to Lake Louise - Allocation - 2027
After breakfast, begin your morning with a visit to the world-renowned Butchart Gardens. Once a rock quarry, this vast amphitheater of flora is now a wonderland of color featuring thousands of species of trees and plants. Following this, enjoy a sightseeing tour of Victoria's highlights, including the lush Beacon Hill Park, the historic totem poles of Thunderbird Park, the iconic Empress Hotel, and the scenic residential district of Oak Bay. The city's British origin is beautifully reflected in its shops and architecture. Your afternoon and evening is at leisure to explore further; you might choose to visit a local gallery or enjoy a stroll through the town center.

After breakfast, your journey continues along the Malahat Highway toward Nanaimo. Here, you will board a ferry to cross the strait to Horseshoe Bay before joining the spectacular Sea-to-Sky Highway. En route, stop at Shannon Falls, the third-highest waterfall in British Columbia. As you drive into the heart of the Coastal Mountain Range, you will reach Whistler. Prepare for a day of spectacular scenery as you travel south along the Icefields Parkway. After a photo stop at the powerful Athabasca Falls, you will reach the Columbia Icefield. Here, you will board a massive, specially designed Ice Explorer vehicle to drive onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier. You will have the opportunity to step out onto the ancient ice and perhaps even fill your water bottle with fresh glacier water. Continue your journey past the turquoise Peyto Lake before arriving in the iconic town of Banff this evening. Tonight is at your leisure.

Day 8 - Unforgettable Canada - Victoria to Lake Louise - Allocation - 2027
This morning, enjoy a tour of the region around Banff, which became Canada's first national park in 1885. Visit the landmark Banff Springs Hotel, Tunnel Mountain, the cascading Bow Falls, and the dramatic Johnston Canyon. Later, we travel to Lake Louise, often called the most photographed scene in Canada. En route, you will stop at the stunning Moraine Lake (seasonal). Day 9 - Unforgettable Canadian Rockies with Rocky Mountaineer - Lake Louise to Vancouver - Allocation - 2027
Departing early in the morning, today we travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from the scenic Lake Louise to Kamloops, in the heart of the British Columbia Interior. Your journey takes you through ever-changing scenery as you travel between the iconic glacier and snow-capped peaks of the Canadian Rockies over mountain passes and through remarkable tunnels, along rocky lakeshores and across the ranchlands of the Interior. Today's highlights include the Continental Divide, the Spiral Tunnels, Kicking Horse Canyon, Rogers Pass and Craigellachie, where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven.
Day 10 - Unforgettable Canadian Rockies with Rocky Mountaineer - Lake Louise to Vancouver - Allocation - 2027
Your journey continues west towards the Pacific Ocean and the coastal city of Vancouver. On today's journey, you will again see dramatic changes in scenery, from the desert-like environment of the B.C. Interior, through winding river canyons and pristine forests, to the Cascade and Coast Mountains and the lush green fields of the Fraser Valley. Highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell's Gate in the Fraser Canyon.
Your rail journey ends on arrival in Vancouver, where your trip leader will meet you at the Rocky Mountaineer station and transfer you to the hotel with the rest of your group, where you will have the night at leisure to explore this vibrant city.

Day 11 - Unforgettable Canadian Rockies - Vancouver Day - Allocation
This morning, enjoy a comprehensive sightseeing tour of Vancouver. Highlights include the world-famous Stanley Park with its impressive collection of First Nations totem poles, English Bay, the trendy shops of Robson Street, Canada Place, and the historic districts of Gastown. Later, travel to North Vancouver to visit the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, where you can walk high above the forest floor. Return to your hotel in the early afternoon for some final leisure time to explore the waterfront or do some last-minute shopping.

Day 12 - Highlights of Canadian Rockies - Vancouver Cruise Embarkation
After breakfast, enjoy a comprehensive sightseeing tour of Vancouver. Highlights include Stanley Park to see the impressive collection of totem poles, the beaches of English Bay, Granville Island, the trendy shops of Robson Street, and the historic atmosphere of Gastown. We also visit Canada Place before arriving at the Cruise Cruise Terminal to embark for your voyage to Alaska.Take some time to explore the various decks and amenities as the vessel prepares to depart.
