Welcome to Madrid! You will be met at the airport and take a private transfer to your hotel. In the evening, meet with your tour leader and fellow travellers, and enjoy an authentic welcome tapas dinner at a local restaurant. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before departing for Mérida, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its remarkably preserved Roman ruins, such as the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre. Delve into its rich historical heritage before heading to Córdoba, which was once the capital of the Caliphate. Return to your hotel for the night. Visit the Cathedral, the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peter's in Rome. After breakfast, journey south through picturesque Andalusian villages to Jerez, where you'll experience two key aspects of Andalusian culture: wine and horses. Visit the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art, followed by a wine tasting at one of the renowned local wineries. Next, continue to Ronda, where you'll tour an olive oil production facility at LA Organic and sample their organic olive oil.
