Today after breakfast, you'll trace the layers of Hong Kong's history on this four-hour walking tour through Central and Sheung Wan. Starting from Central MTR at 11am, your local guide takes you to Possession Street, where the British first claimed Hong Kong in 1841, then up to the incense-thick Man Mo Temple, one of the territory's oldest. From there, ride the Mid-Levels Escalator (the longest outdoor covered escalator system in the world) into SoHo, before exploring Tai Kwun, the former Central Police Station now reborn as a heritage and arts complex.
The tour finishes with a wander down stone-stepped Pottinger Street, lined with stalls that have barely changed in a century. Enjoy an included lunch.
This evening is free for leisure.
