Overview
On this richly immersive journey through Nicaragua and Costa Rica, discover how vibrant culture and powerful landscapes constantly inform one another. In Nicaragua, connect deeply with place through its cities, creativity and everyday traditions. Explore the historic streets of Leon and Granada, then travel off the beaten path to the cool highlands of Matagalpa, where a hands‑on traditional cooking class and local encounters offer insight into daily life. Crossing Lake Nicaragua by ferry brings you to Ometepe Island – a striking volcanic landscape where rural communities, farmland and dramatic scenery reveal a slower, more grounded rhythm of life. As the journey continues into Costa Rica, that sense of connection expands into nature at its most diverse and alive. Volcanic landscapes, cloud forests, rivers and coastal ecosystems create endless opportunities for exploration or relaxation, whether hiking forest trails, kayaking winding waterways or simply soaking in the surroundings. Wildlife is ever‑present, with frequent chances to spot sloths, monkeys and colourful birdlife.
