After breakfast, visit the ruins of Amman’s Roman theatre, the citadel, the Umayyad Palace and the Archaeological and Folklore museums. Drive east of Amman and dotting the wide desert are a string of 8th Century Castles built by the Omayyad Caliphs of Damascus as hunting Lodges: Azraq, Amra and Kharaneh. After breakfast, drive north of Amman, to the ancient city of Jerash for a tour in one of the most famous and best preserved of all the Greco/Roman cities, the city was one of the ten Roman citadels known as the “Decapolis”. Then proceed to visit Ajloun; A hilly town in the north of Jordan. It is noted for its impressive ruins of the 12th century castle, which known as Ajloun Castle. Back to hotel in Amman for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

After breakfast, transfer to visit Madaba; the mosaic-filled city, and visit the Greek Church of St. George. Proceed to visit Mt. Nebo; the site where Moses overlooked the Dead Sea, and to see the church at Mt. Nebo houses sixth century mosaics which are being uncovered as you watch. Then proceed to Kerak to visit the castle of Kerak, one of the two major Crusader castles in Jordan. Transfer to hotel in Petra for dinner and overnight. (B, D)

After breakfast, transfer to desert of Wadi Rum, where black and wind scalped hills stand like foreboding sentinels upon the pale sands, often described as the “Valley of the Moon”. 3 hours deep tour in the desert. Then drive to the south of Jordan to Aqaba; which is best known today as a diving and beach resort, but industrial activity remains important to the area, and the town is an exporter of phosphate and some shells. After breakfast, drive to the lowest spot on earth “the Dead Sea”, at 1,306 feet below sea level, free time, group can take a swim where it is impossible to sink; read a newspaper while lying on your back in the sea, then drive to visit the Bethany where Jesus Christ was baptised By John the Baptist. Transfer to hotel in Amman for dinner and overnight. (B, D)
