The Amboseli National Park in southern Kenya is renowned for its majestic herds of elephants and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Covering 392km2, the park offers a unique and breathtaking landscape of vast open plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush, swamps, and marshland. It's also home to a variety of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeests, which you can see on morning and afternoon game drives today.

The Amboseli National Park is also a premier location for wildlife photography and bird watching, with over 400 bird species recorded. The park's ecosystem is mainly sustained by the meltwater from Mount Kilimanjaro, feeding its swamps, which attract water birds and sustain the wildlife during dry periods.

Drive north to the Samburu Game Reserve, where you’ll enjoy lunch before setting out on an afternoon game drive.  Known for its large elephant population, this reserve offers excellent opportunities to observe these majestic animals in their natural habitat.

Begin your day with breakfast before setting out on a morning game drive through the unique dry-country landscapes of Samburu. This reserve is renowned for its “Special Five” — Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx — species found almost exclusively in this region. Return to the lodge for a leisurely lunch, then head out again in the afternoon for another game drive to further explore the reserve’s rich wildlife. As evening falls, return to the lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the African bush.

Journey to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to a significant population of eastern black rhinos. 
You’ll arrive in time for lunch, followed by an exciting afternoon game drive to explore the diverse wildlife of the area.
