A sight to behold, the vast lake was formed nearly 2,000 years ago after a devastating volcanic eruption left a crater in the earth that is roughly the size of Singapore. Nearby, Huka Falls is one of New Zealand's most revered natural attractions. The force of the falls is so powerful, it can fill an Olympic-sized swimming pool in only 11 seconds.
