Overview
Explore the dramatic Norwegian coastline on this independent journey combining the famous Norwegian Coastal Voyage with extended time in the spectacular Lofoten Islands and vibrant Tromsø.
Travelling north from Bergen, you’ll sail along one of the world’s most scenic coastlines, stopping in historic coastal towns including Ålesund and Trondheim, and passing remarkable landscapes such as the Geirangerfjord and Saltstraumen. The voyage offers a unique perspective on Norway’s maritime culture, travelling aboard working coastal vessels that connect communities along the rugged shoreline.
After your voyage, spend several days immersed in the extraordinary landscapes of the Lofoten Archipelago. Here, sharp granite peaks rise directly from the sea, traditional red fishing cabins line sheltered harbours, and white sandy beaches meet crystal-clear Arctic waters.
During your stay you’ll experience the region’s rich natural beauty and maritime heritage, with opportunities for hiking, sea safaris, kayaking, fishing and exploring picturesque fishing villages.
Your journey concludes in Tromsø, the lively cultural hub of Arctic Norway and a gateway to the far north.
