Upon arrival at Bari airport or train station meet and assist. Enjoy a private transfer to Trani, often called the pearl of the Adriatic. Take time to absorb the coastal atmosphere and stroll through the charming lanes of the historic center. Overnight stay in Trani at Palazzo Paciotti or similar. 

Embark on a guided exploration of Trani, with its majestic seaside Cathedral and the historical allure of the Jewish quarter. Continue to Castel del Monte, the striking octagonal fortress built by Frederick II, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As the sun sets, enjoy a scenic aperitif – a celebratory moment of art, architecture, and ambiance. Overnight stay in Trani at Palazzo Paciotti or similar. (B)

Start your day at a traditional Apulian dairy, where you’ll take part in an immersive workshop on making mozzarella and burrata by hand. In the afternoon, visit the Confetti Museum and delve into the sweet world of Italian candy-making. Wrap up with a guided tasting of extra virgin olive oil during a tour of a local mill. Spend the day discovering Matera, the awe-inspiring city of the Sassi and a former European Capital of Culture. Wander through its timeworn alleyways and marvel at its carved history. Return to Bari for a street food tour in the old town, indulging in specialties such as focaccia, panzerotti, and sgagliozze. Overnight stay in Bari at Hotel Boston or similar. (B)

Visit two icons of Puglia: Alberobello, with its unique and storybook trulli, and Polignano a Mare, a spectacular seaside village built into cliffs with sweeping Adriatic views. Overnight at Mercure Hotel President or similar. (B)

Begin the day in Ostuni, the “White City,” where gleaming alleyways open onto vistas of the Itria Valley. In the afternoon, head to Lecce, the “Florence of the South,” famed for its theatrical Baroque architecture and golden facades. Conclude the day with a local aperitif in the heart of the old city. Set off for Otranto, along the Adriatic, where cathedrals and castles echo with tales of martyrs and maritime legends. Later, journey to Gallipoli, on the Ionian coast, for a relaxing stroll along its bastions, quaint ports, and scenic seafront. Return to Lecce in the evening and overnight at Mercure Hotel President or similar. (B)
