Travel to Bonn by coach and the magnificent La Redoute recital hall, built in 1792 by the last Elector of Cologne, previous guests include Princess Diana and Queen Elisabeth II of England. Relax on board this morning as you cruise through the picturesque Rhine Gorge, where the landscapes could have been pulled from the pages of a fairytale. By 1945, the city was reduced to rubble, including large sections of the Imperial Castle and Old Town. After the war, Nazi leaders were tried here for their war crimes.
