    At Schönbrunn Palace, your Local Specialist leads you through white-and-gold Rococo rooms, carved chandeliers and intricate parquet once used for the ceremonies of the Habsburg court. In Ljubljana, you’ll wander through the Central Market, where fruit and vegetables sit beside fresh bread, and the scent of sweet baked goods drifts between the stalls. At Plitviče, emerald-green and dark-blue lakes lie among dense forest, with water cascading over moss-covered tufa into the rippling pools below. In Sarajevo, you’ll enter the Tunnel of Hope, a passage about a metre wide and 1.6 metres high, dug beneath the airport during the siege, where narrow rails once carried people and vital supplies.
