Tuscany & Umbria Tour

Pick up from Florence station and depart for the Chianti Classico region, enjoy the opportunity to sample some of the best Tuscan wines. Next, head to San Gimignano and enjoy plenty of free time to explore this wonderful medieval town. Stop at a fantastic local winery and learning more about the Vernaccia di San Gimignano. In the late afternoon, our local guide and driver will transport you to a traditional Tuscan farmhouse. (D)

First, we’ll say Ciao! to Umbria. Visit two of the region’s most impressive towns, Perugia and Gubbio. During the morning, you can wander the charming streets of Gubbio and see locals selling their produce. In the afternoon, our tour will take us to the university city of Perugia. The capital of the Umbria region. (B, D)

After check-out, travel south to see Civita di Bagnoregio. A magnificent Lazio town perched high upon a hilltop. This journey will take around 2 hours. You will have plenty of time to explore this marvellous village and to enjoy a free traditional lunch. Later in the day, we travel to the small city of Orvieto, famous for its white wine, Orvieto Classico and its Duomo. Wander the city and perhaps choose to visit the beautiful theatre. When our Orvieto visit is done, we start the two-hour drive back to Florence, where our tour will come to a close. (B)
